FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method provides for rock mass sorting and loading at lower horizon by excavator straight spade and transportation of rock mass to upper horizons by excavator-dragline. Demolished rock mass from face is transported by excavators and piled on above located terrace, add loose small lump fraction to base of pile and big size lumps are stored separately in face. Piled rock mass is transported to upper horizons by dragline. In the case angle of inclination of dragline boom during digging is made minimum and during bucket lifting the inclination angle is increased up to maximum value to the horizontal with possible fixation. Dragline is operating with changeable buckets-containers loading of which is exercised by single bucket loader. Empty bucket-container is hooked off and left on lower horizon for loading and loaded one is hooked up to lifting rope, lifted and unloaded on upper horizon.
