FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has cog rotor 3 which has Zp cogs, cog stator 1, which has Zc cogs, number of cogs in rotor and stator follows equation Zp=Zc± 2p,, where p = 1, 2, 3, ... is number of pairs of poles of distributed winding which is located in slots of stator 1. Each its phase has 2p coil groups which are connected in opposing direction. Winding of stator 1 has two three-phase windings which are displaced by 30 electric degrees and are connected to three-phase power supply in parallel. One three- phase winding is connected to delta connection, another one is connected to star connection. Said windings are designed to achieve approximate equality of their magnetizing forces with tolerance range of no more than 20 percents of their level. Coils of windings are made in step which is equal to half of range of 0.5-0.85 of pole distance. EFFECT: increased start momentum and increased efficiency. 2 dwg
