POLYMERIC COMPOSITION Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: polymeric materials. SUBSTANCE: composition has, p. p.: suspension polyvinyl chloride 100; dioctyl phthalate 20-40; calcium stearate 1-5; calcium meta-silicate of the general formula CaSiO₃ stained at 100 C with 10-15% metal salt solution taken from the group involving cobalt nitrate, nickel nitrate, copper sulfate and dressing filler organosilicon compound (0.5-3.3 per 100) 20-130. Calcium meta-silicate is poured with 10-15% metal salt aqueous solution, mixture heated to 100 C, boiled for 1.5-2 hr, filtered off, washed and dried. Organosilicon dressing is dissolved in carbon tetrachloride and calcium meta-silicate is poured with this solution. Solvent is blown out. Polyvinyl chloride is mixed with stabilizing agent, filler, plasticizer added. Mixture swells for 2-3 hr at 100-110 C. Mixture is stirred and subjected for plasticization on rolls at 160 C.
