FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: bifidobacterium or streptococcus culture grown under conditions of submerged cultivation is mixed with protective medium. Contact-sorption dehydration of the end product is carried out with sorbent cooled to -8-10 C, for example, with aluminium oxide at residual humidity less 1% at mass ratio (1:10)-(1:12), respectively. Then additional drying is carried out for 18-20 hr at 0-5 C in closed volume. Probiotic is used for prophylaxis and treatment of disbacteriosis in human and agriculture animals. EFFECT: improved method of preparing.
