BIOPREPARATION FOR BEE PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCEMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: biopreparation has dry bacterial mass of bifidobacteria of the strain Bifidobacterium globosum VGNKI N BF- 4/DEP, dry bacterial mass of the strain of streptococci Streptococcus faecium VGNKI N 27/11-B-DEP as the source of biologically active substance. Biopreparation has ascorbic acid, carbohydrate, aluminium oxide, aluminium hydroxide and filling agent also. Biopreparation is diluted in small amount of boiled water and added to sugar syrup in the dose 1 g of preparation per 200 ml of sugar syrup and fed to bees twice. In the first feeding the preparation is given with the first additional feeding and in then in 7-10 days in the dose 100 ml of prepared syrup from preparation per one beehive in the second feeding. Preparation shows high growth-stimulating effect on bees and enhances their physiological activity. Invention can be used for production of biologically active probiotic addition for stimulation of physiological functions in bees.
