FIELD: wind motors. SUBSTANCE: wind motor has tower 1 with swivel head 2 holding horizontal shaft 3 which is parallel to direction of wind and kinematically linked with generator 4 provided with main windwheel with radial cylindrical blades 5 and additional impeller 7 located in wind protected area of tower 1 at one end of shaft 3. Cylindrical blades 5 are fixed on shaft 3 by means of trunnions 6. Blades are provided with aerodynamic elements creating Magnus effect. Aerodynamic elements are made in form of blades 8 mounted in parallel with generatrix of cylinders for rotation about blades 5 by means of impeller 7. Kinematic linkage of impeller 7 with blades 8 consists of ferromagnetic bushes 9 with toothed rims at ends which are engageable with two toothed rims 10 11 of opposite polarity by means of closed field, permanent magnets 14 being arranged between them. Rims 10 and 11 are secured to flanges of nonmagnetic hub 12 of impeller 7 which is free to rotate on horizontal shaft 3 behind cylindrical blades 5. Bushes 9 are connected with blades 8 and are rotatably mounted on trunnions 6 of blades 5. During operation of wind motor, blades 8 moving on one side of blades 5 towards air flow deflect it on walls of blade cylinders, thus creating increased pressure of wind on them, while opposite blades moving with wind deflect wind from blades, thus creating reduced pressure of air on blades. Under action of this difference of pressures, cylindrical blades 5 rotate with horizontal shaft 3 and rotor of generator 4. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 1 dwg
