FIELD: automatics. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electromechanical servo systems meant to monitor changes of input signal. Electromechanical drive with brake can be used in systems of automatic control and regulation. In includes motor 1 coupled by means of shaft 2 to actuator. Shaft 2 carries disc 4 placed into sealed body attached to base and formed by supports 5 arranged in symmetry relative to plane of disc and made from magnetoimpenetrable material, for example, aluminium or copper, magnetic circuit 6 put on supports 5 and bushing 7 made from magnetoimpenetrable material, for instance, copper. Body is filled with magnetoviscous fluid 8. Disc is fabricated from material having small magnetic resistance, for instance, from electrical-sheet steel, and has perforated surface. Coil 9 is located inside toroidal cavity limited by magnetic circuit 6 and bushing 7. Magnetic circuit 6 forms inductor together with coil 9 which magnetic field lines of force close via volume occupied by rheological fluid and disc 4. System controlling drive has master unit 10, angular speed pickup 11, mismatch meter 12, first amplifier 13, aperiodic link 14 and second amplifier 15.
