SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the weight and tribological characteristics of large transport and other objects. The measuring electromechanical system determines the mass or tribotechnical characteristics of the object of measurement based on the observation and processing of the parameters of the electric motor with linear movement of the actuating element mechanically connected to the object of measurement. The information processing unit corresponding to the instantaneous values of the observed parameters of the electromechanical system is used. The use of a programmable computing device that compares the measured values of the electrical parameters of the electric motor when the object is being measured with the previously entered values of the same parameters of the electric motor without moving the object of measurement and their maximum allowable values, allows calculating the mass and friction coefficient of the object of measurement relative to the supporting surface, expands the functional characteristics of the measuring system and improves its reliability.

EFFECT: increased functionality and reliability of the measuring system.
