FIELD: test technology. SUBSTANCE: bench has a flywheel with a drive for rotating it, a faceplate rotatably mounted on the periphery of flywheel relative to an axis in parallel with its rotation axis, a controllable drive for rotating the faceplate including a motor and inertial mechanism, table for affixing an article to be tested and its weight mock-up mounted diametrically opposite on the faceplate. The inertial mechanism adapted for increasing the slope of impulse leading edge comprises two platforms mounted on the flywheel periphery and rotatable relative to a common axis in parallel with a rotation axis of the faceplate, weights symmetrically disposed relative to the platform rotation axis and movable in opposite directions in diametrical guides of the platform and device for moving the weights. The weight moving device has a chain with a driving wheel individual for each weight and a common controllable reversible motor coupled with the shafts of driving wheels through a bevel gearing. The bench furthermore has a control system for controlling the faceplate drive including two coupled feedback circuits. The bench is characterized in that an error signal at the output of comparison element of the first feedback circuit in which the motor is connected is compared with a signal from a position sensor sensing position of weights relative to the rotation axis of the platforms by a comparison element of the second feedback circuit in which the inertial mechanism reversible motor is connected.
