SUBSTANCE: the device for separation of binary liquid mixtures by the rectification method has a column with a square section and joint in a vertical plane throughout the entire height, detachable bubble-cap trays are installed in the column. The device also uses a depthlegmator, condenser with end face boards and heat-exchange elements welded to them and made in the form of hollow three-layer elements with an intermediate tie in the form of 1-section rods. The ribbed external surface of the steam delivery connections of the trays is conjugate to the internal surface of the bubble caps, whose end faces carry flat skirts hermetically connected to them.
