FIELD: heat- and mass-exchange apparatuses in which steam bubbles through layer of liquid, for instance, in still rectifying units of periodic action; applicable in alcoholic beverage and spirits industries, and also in chemical and other industries where the process of rectification is used. SUBSTANCE: rectification column has vertical cylindrical body assembled of separate sections - sheet-steel cylinders. In the lower part of the body the sheet-steel cylinders accommodate the packing in form of wire spirals. Ends of spirals interact with distributing device in form of perforated truncated cone provided with concentric beads and facing, with its top, the packing and connected by means of coupling bolt with grate installed on the packing opposite end. Distributing device is made in form of two truncated cones joined by their bases. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 11 cl, 10 dwg
