FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine temperature is measured first and temperature measured is then compared with a reference one. When, in idling condition and at low loads, the temperature of the engine becomes lower than a reference value, one applies a parasite load to the engine to increase fuel consumption and fuel flow rate in response to increased fuel consumption.
