FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: gear testing sample for crack resistance has loading member in the form of hollow rod filled with material with high coefficient of thermal expansion and electric heater and means to create initial load in the form of two screws rested against membranes closing holes in rod. With heating of material by means of electric heater pressure on membranes increases and through them on screws which are directly coupled to sample. By remote change of temperature of heater one regulates load on sample which makes it possible to investigate crack resistance of materials in points difficult to reach. EFFECT: expanded application field. 1 dwg
