FIELD: repair of pressure vessels working in hydrogen-containing mediums. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing gas from metal; drilling openings in metal delamination zones, filled with gaseous products of hydrogen corrosion; detecting depressurization moment by nature of changing deformation-stressed state of metal on vessel surface, i.e. by detecting change in the values of electric resistance of resistor element during depressurization of delaminations in metal.
