FIELD: geology. SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to control up-to-date geodynamic state of zones with enhanced tectonic activity by radiometric methods of test. In agreement with method radioactive indicator is chosen. Periodic registration of radiation field is carried out by chosen indicator. Obtained results are analyzed, changeability of radiation field of chosen indicator and normal static error of measured value of intensity of radiation field of chosen indicator are determined. These values are intercompared and results are used to evaluate up-to-date state of tectonic zone and probability of geodynamic motion in it. Evaluation of probability of geodynamic motions is performed by following analytical dependence , where is normal static error of measurement of intensity of radiation field of controlled indicator; is changeability of intensity of radiation field of controlled indicator in time. Method may be used in mining industry to predict rock bursts caused by rock pressure. For realization of proposed method it will be sufficient to have standard radiometric equipment used to study compositions of rocks and ores. Such automatic and continuous control can be easily set going without large capital and operational expenditures at present day level. EFFECT: increased authenticity of method. 3 cl
