FIELD: frequency conversion in UHF and microwave radio-receiving and radio-measuring engineering. SUBSTANCE: mixer has insulating substrate 1 whose face side carries screen conductor 2 incorporating first regular coplanar line 10 turning into expanding two-wire coplanar line 14 whose electrodes 15 and 16 are connected through capacitors 17 and 18 to planar conductors 19 and 20 of regular two-wire coplanar line 21. Lead of first regular coplanar line 3 functions as input of signal from local oscillator 5. Four semiconductor diodes 22, 23, 26, 27 are inserted between planar conductors 19, 20 and second regular coplanar line 25. Lead 31 of second regular coplanar line 25 is connected to data signal and intermediate-frequency signal selecting circuits. Positive and negative bias voltages are applied to planar conductors 19, 20. Back side of insulating substrate 1 mounts plate 32 made of absorbing material. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 6 dwg
