FIELD: production of ultradispersed metallic powder to be used as energetic additive to solid rocket propellants. SUBSTANCE: devices has gas and powder supply unit 1, electric arc evaporator 2, hardening unit 3, condenser 4, aerosol flow discharging unit 5, plasmatron 6, gas vortex stabilization unit 7 of electric arc discharge and plasma flow. Plasmatron 6 has nonevaporated material discharge unit 8 for discharge of nonevaporated material from evaporator. Unit 8 is connected with receiver 9. Aerosol flow discharge unit 5 is connected with trap through cooler 10. Trap consists of system of filters connected in series including working filter 11, ultradispersed powder receiver 12 and sanitary filters 13. Method of production of unltradispersed powder consists in introducing starting powder-like material into electric arc evaporator of plasmatron, discharging nonevaporated part of starting powder, cooling and unloading finished product. Stabilization of electric arc discharge and plasma is effected through tangentially introducing the gas. Processing gas is returned after filters for preparation of earosol, cooling and creating of centrifugal force filed. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
