FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has blowing unit (compressor) 1 whose outlet is connected with blast furnace 7 through air heaters 4 and 10 and inlet connected with regulator 24 of compressor 1, which is connected with cold blast pressure regulator 19. Apparatus is further provided with cold blast gate 11 connected with cold blast pressure regulator 19, hot blast gate 14. Regulator 19 is connected with unit for changing over action of regulator 19 from compressor 1 to cold blast gate 11. Change-over unit is loaded through programming unit 20. Dynamic parameters are changed by unit 30. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
