FIELD: cleaning and sterilization of medical instrument. SUBSTANCE: volume cavitation is produced in liquid, and vibrations are formed as impact-hydroacoustic momenta with common flat leading edges by accomplishing of distributed point corona discharges. The leading edges of hydroacoustic momenta are oriented perpendicularly to the axes of holes and ducts the treated instrument and parallel to the liquid free surface. Discharge is accomplished in catholyte and anolyte alternately at cyclic variation of their level. The vibration exciter is made in the form of a flat electrode system connected to a pulse current generator. The system together, with the discharge chamber bottom, forms a distribution space and is made in the form of a stack of two plates-electrodes. A dielectric plate is clamped between the electrodes. The stack is furnished with through holes, having chamfered edges on the free surface of the lower electrode, enlarged diameter in the upper electrode by 3 to 5 times and conical part in the dielectric plate at its upper surface. A holder for vertical arrangement of needles, syringe cases and other articles with cylindrical holes is positioned above the electrode system. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 3 dwg
