FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to strengthening treatment by plastic deformation and may be used for finishing-strengthening treatment of internal surfaces of barrels of guns and rifles and deep holes of low-rigidity base members. Tool for finishing-strengthening treatment has case, rotor with drive, source of magnetic field and small cheeks mounted on rotor and forming ring chamber filled with deforming balls. One of small cheeks is spring-loaded and is mobile in axial direction. Tool is fitted with device for axial movement of cheek manufactured in the form of spring-loaded pushers, supporting bearing, sleeve with axial ducts and groove for nut and screw. Supporting bearing is anchored on mobile cheek. Pushers are mounted in axial ducts of sleeve and rest against supporting bearing. Case is mounted in sleeve for axial movement. Screw is fixed in groove of sleeve for rotation and nut is made fast to case of tool. Proposed design of tool provides for uniform power action of individual sections of treated surface. EFFECT: increased quality of treatment thanks to rotation of center of mass of deforming members in one plane, prolonged service life of tool due to reduced wear-out of deforming members and cheeks during idle run. 1 dwg
