FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method may be applied at building industry enterprises having not more than 3-5 pit steaming chambers in order to control wet-heat treatment of ferroconcrete pieces. Method consists in measuring pressure before a steaming chamber, determining and maintaining pressure corresponding to needed input in the step of raising temperature and isothermal ageing pieces by way of interpolation of closest values of steam input from preliminarily calculated values for at least 6-8 possible steaming operating modes. Correspondence of pressure values to those of steam input is found by means of creating before a chamber 4-6 possible values of pressure, measuring for each of them pressure in 3-5 points of pressure collector, and graphically determining average value for the dependence thus found. This very value is used to determine needed steam input. EFFECT: simplified control of steaming and reduced heat energy usage. 4 tbl
