FIELD: petrochemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in the styrol production via catalytic dehydration of ethylbenzene with subsequent isolation of benzene, toluene, and styrene from "furnace oil", bottoms of styrene distillation column are subjected to additional distillation with returning a part of distilled styrene into rectification step. Up to 30% of bottoms of styrene-recovering columns is mixed with isolated benzene-toluene fraction at ratio 1:0.3 and recycled into "furnace oil" to be separated, the content of inhibitor in bottoms of styrene-recovering column being kept by 25% higher than level of polymer products. EFFECT: increased yield of styrene. 1 dwg, 4 tbl
