FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by consecutive isolation of benzene- toluene fraction, recycling ethylbenzene, and rectified styrene from initial fraction and afterexhaustion of styrene using inhibitor based on pyridine compounds. Column isolating benzene-toluene fraction receives up to 35% of bottom fluid from styrene afterexhaustion column mixed with benzene-toluene fraction. Inhibitor is supplied in amount 90 g/1 t styrene directly from column isolating recycling ethylbenzene and rectified styrene at weight ratio 0.3:1. EFFECT: elaborated method of separating ethylbenzene/styrene fractions obtained at dehydration of ethylbenzene with minimal losses of inhibitor and styrene. 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
