FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: "living" polymers were synthesized by polymerization, copolymerization (block-polymerization) of butadiene, isoprene, styrene, α-methylstyrene in solution in the presence of lithium-organic compound and interaction of prepared lithium-containing polymers with multifunctional coupling agent. The latter is halogen-containing polydiene or diene copolymer and vinyl-aromatic monomer or isobutylene containing links of the formula: 
at molar ratio "living" polymer : chlorine in multifunctional coupling agent = 1:(1-10). Synthesized new block-copolymers were used in shoes industry or as adhesives. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 3 cl, 2 tbl
