FIELD: mining art, is intended for demolition of rocks with the use of compressed gas energy. SUBSTANCE: holes 8 are made in the hydropneumatic cartridge in one or more rows. Pistons 9 with cutting knives 10 secured on them are installed in holes 8. The volume of working air chamber 1 in the cartridge exceeds that of inlet chamber 2. Diaphragm 3 between chambers 1 and 2 has hole 4. The diameter of hole 4 is less than the diameter of the inlet of working chamber 5. The cartridge is provided with stop 16, and cartridge case 15 may be zigzag-shaped. Due to preliminary pressing of cutting knives 10 to the walls of blast-hole 13, clinging of roughness on the blast-hole walls and simultaneous dynamic action of the knives on the rock mass are ensured at actuation of the cartridge.
