FIELD: mining industry and construction engineering; devices for punching of holes in hard rocks and for breakage of various objects. SUBSTANCE: device includes cartridges assembled into single multistage line. Cartridge bodies beginning from tail cartridge are made in form of combined guide barrels with accommodation of forward bodies in guide barrels of preceding cartridge. Device has mechanism of air pulse efflux and each cartridge is made pneumatic with working and auxiliary chambers separated by differential slide valve having central channel with check valve. Slide valve shuts-off exhaust holes in cartridge body. Guide barrels of each cartridge are isolated from working chamber by partition. Working chambers of preceding cartridges are connected by means of air-conducting tubes to auxiliary chambers of forward arranged cartridges through intermediate chambers formed between them and insulated from ambient medium. Auxiliary chamber of tail cartridge is communicated with compressed air source. Body of head cartridge is provided with pick. EFFECT: higher effect of punching due to stage increase of speed of percussive member under action of high-pressure compressed air. 2 dwg
