FIELD: chemical and petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: hydrogenisotopes mixture is going in series through contact sections of separating tower, that are filled with immovable hydride forming material: palladium, titanium, zirconium, lanthanum or alloy, that has at least one of the chemical elements. Regeneration of waste material is carried out by its heating to temperature exceeding temperature of separation by 180 - 400 C with alternating motion of contact sections and phases streams circulation joins in respect to each other. Contact sections are moved in respect to immovable joints of phases streams circulation in direction, that is opposite to gas movement in contact sections. Other version provides, that phases streams circulation joints and point of gas streams inlet and outlet are moved in respect to immovable contact sections in direction of gas movement in them. As a version during regeneration of waste material it is additionally vacuumized to 0.1 - 1.0 mm Hg. Contact sections with regenerated material are sent back in cycle beginning and desorbed hydrogen is partially or fully removed from separation tower. Separation factor is 1.1 - 2.0 unit, separation degree is 1.8 - 1740 units. EFFECT: improved process of separation. 3 cl, 1 tbl
