FIELD: production of biogas from animal and bird activity products. SUBSTANCE: biogas generation unit has acid fermentation chamber, acid regression fermentation chamber and alkaline fermentation chamber, gas containers positioned above fermentation chambers, precombustion chamber and methane fermentation chamber provided with bubblers, device for grinding suspension of substrate to be reprocessed, heating and mixing it, microfilters for separating substrate from destructing microorganisms, and disintegrators. Acid fermentation regression chamber and alkaline fermentation chamber are provided with settling sections defined by gates made from flexible threads and adapted to separate substrate into floating layer, silt- laden water layer, active silt layer and slurry layer. Acid regression fermentation chamber is communicated with methane fermentation precombustion chamber at the level of silt-laden water layer in settling sections. Alkaline fermentation chamber is communicated with methane fermentation chamber at the level of silt-laden water in settling sections. Bubblers of methane fermentation precombustion chambers are communicated with gas containers positioned above alkaline fermentation chamber.
