FIELD: prospecting operations. SUBSTANCE: process is meant for remote search of diamond-bearing areas at first stages of prediction and search operations. Decoding space photographs of small and medium resolution is conducted, linear, circuit and area elements of landscape are fixed, zones of extended (hundreds of km) and wide (tens of km) beams of unidirectional lineaments accompanied by circular structures up to 250.0 km are isolated, zone-apparent circular formations having diameter 170-200.0 km complicated with radial fractures by which boundaries of diamond-bearing areas are determined are segregated.
