FIELD: chemical-photographic industry. SUBSTANCE: material consists of cellulose triacetate or polyethylene terephthalate backing and the following layers applied on its with the both sites: gelatin sublayer, light-sensitive layer made of bromide-silver photographic emulsion containing homogeneous, flat or flat lateral silver halide crystals at the average grain size 1.2-2.0 mcm at ratio of transverse crystal size (d) to its thickness (h) = d:h 8 and at the total AgJ content 3-5 mol.%; $$$ = 20-60%; stabilizing agent - sulfur-containing compounds of the formula $$$ (I), or $$$ (II) where R,$$$ - alkyl, aryl, heterocycle; M - cation; L - $$$-group; m = 0, 1, or compound of the formula $$$ (III), or $$$ (IV), or 1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole (V-I), or compound of the formula $$$ (V-2) where Q - O, NH, or substituted dihydroxybenzene of the formula $$$ (VI) where, H at condition that and $$$ simultaneously, or their mixture at amount $$$ M/M Ag of each; spectral sensibilizing agent - monomethinecyanine of the formula $$$ (VII) where B,$$$ - alkyl, alkoxyl, halogen, benzo- or thieno-group; $$$ - ion of alkaline metal, $$$ - S, O; n = 2,4; or merocyanine of the formula $$$ (VIII) where Z - benzothiazole or pyridine-2 residue; R,$$$ - alkyl, sulfoalkyl, carboxyalkyl $$$ - ion of alkaline metal, $$$; n = 2-4; $$$ or R - H, or (IX) where B,$$$ - phenyl, carboxyalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, halogen; A - H, alkyl; R - alkyl, sulfoalkyl $$$ - ion of alkaline metal, $$$; n = 2-4 at amount (1-6) x $$$ M/M Ag of each, or their mixture, or composition of sensibilizing agent (VII) $$$ or (VIII) $$$, or (IX) $$$ and supersensibilizing agent of the formula (X) $$$ where Z - residue of benzothiazole, benzoxazole, thiazoline, benzimidazole, pyridine, and/or supersensibilizing agent of the formula (XI) $$$ where X - $$$; Z - residues of (un)substituted benzimidazole, pyridine, pyrazole or imidazole; n = 1-3; A - $$$; m = 0-3 taken at amount 0.5-1 mole supersensibilizing agent per 1 mole sensibilizing agent. Also, compounds of the formulas (XII) $$$ or (XIII) $$$ where R - $$$, or R - H; $$$, or (XIV) $$$, or (XV) $$$, or (XVI) $$$ can be added to light-sensitive and/or protective layer of material taken at amount (1.0-2.5) x $$$ M/M Ag in emulsion layer and (0.3-1.5) x $$$ M/g gelatin in protective layer. Material properties: decreased content of metallic silver (from 6.5 to 4.5 g/$$$), decreased coefficient of crossed light fog (from 0.90 to 0.35), high stability of photomaterial properties (up to 18 months), improved image quality. Material is used in medicinal and technical radiography. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, enhanced quality. 1 tbl
