FIELD: re-pumping and weighing of liquid metals in transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: linear induction machine has linearly open magnetic circuits 1 with coils 2 and 3. Coils 2 are connected in series with capacitors 4 to form closed resonant circuit. Capacitors 3 are connected n series with capacitors 5 and connected together to single-phase voltage source. Electro- conductive working body 6 is disposed between the magnetic circuits; the working body is separated from the magnetic circuits by air gaps. Coils 2 and 3 are turned on into single- phase voltage source to induce resonance in circuits connected inductively. As a result, current phase shift may be achieved in different coils of winding, and to generate running magnetic field. EFFECT: improved efficiency; improved reliability. 2 dwg
