FIELD: road building in regions with below-zero average annual temperature, mainly in northern regions. SUBSTANCE: method comes to clearing road lane from bushes and moss-and-plant cover, natural thawing and drying base ground, filling soil on base, subsequently compacting the layers. Bushes and moss-and-plant cover are removed across road lane and are gathered into heaps at the beginning of autumn season. Then loosening of base ground is carried out in strips across direction of lane, and sand and gravel material is spread over, subsequently compacting the layers. At beginning of spring season, when snow layer starts thawing, cut off bushes and moss-and-plant cover from heaps at road lane are placed on surface, and sand and gravel material is spread over, subsequently compacting the layer. EFFECT: reduced cost of road building.
