FIELD: hydraulic turbine with self-closing guides. SUBSTANCE: system has drive device with electric motor 7 which is coupled with guide control driven member 1 through self-braking drive in form of lead screw 5-and-nut pair. Mechanical chain of this coupling has fixing device 19 controlled by electric magnet 22 capable of breaking the mechanical chain. Control system has centrifugal device to control speed of rotation of hydraulic turbine rotor. Mechanical chain includes rocker 3 one end of which is connected with lead screw nut and other end, through tie-rod 13, is connected with rod 14 of hydraulic cylinder 15. Axle is connected through tie-rod 2 with driven member 1. Tie-rod 13 and rod 14 are held motionless by means of fixing device 19 when hydraulic turbine operates under normal conditions. At speeding up of hydraulic turbine rotor or in case of interruption of power supply, tie-rod 13 and rod 14 get released, making it possible for rocker 3 to turn around opposite end, thus providing self-closing of guide at a speed defined by hydraulic cylinder 15 which plays the part of damper.
