FIELD: apparatuses of chemical machine building, particular, contact equipment in mass exchange apparatuses; applicable in chemical and other industries where contact trays are used in mass-exchange columns. SUBSTANCE: fastening (packing) unit consists of cylindrical body with transverse corrugation with their convexity directed inside the body. Installed on corrugations, on their inside surface, are contact trays whose side edge is adjacent to body. Lower part of the side edge is flanged on the internal diameter of the corrugation with transfer over the external radius of corrugation on the section. Additional corrugation 6 may be made on the body, and on the side edge of the contact tray additional corrugation may be made whose protrusion enters the depression of corrugation.
