FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: method comprises grinding, screening, and drying of clay, mixing it with technical and 10-300 wt % energetically active additives followed by shaping and roasting of articles at furnace temperature not lower than temperature of beginning of exothermal reaction between oxidant and fuel. As an energetically active additive, stoichiometric mixture of oxidant and fuel is used. The former may be barium nitrate and/or ammonium nitrate or their mixture with iron oxide, whereas the latter is aluminium. Components' ratio, when binary mixtures are used, barium nitrate to ammonium nitrate is 1:1, barium and ammonium nitrates to iron oxide 3:1, and, when ternary mixtures are used, barium nitrate to ammonium nitrate to iron oxide 1: 1: 1.
