FIELD: railway track facilities; processing and repair of ties, assembling of rail-and-tie skeletons at production bases of track machine stations. SUBSTANCE: tie feeder has gantry frame 3 with guides on its posts, driven carriages with L-shaped levers 11 for lifting the ties mounted on guides, device for pushing off lifted ties mounted at lifted tie level, intake device coupled with pushing off device and horizontal conveyor 1 to deliver ties under gantry frame 3. Tie feeder has device for receiving tie- liners on which rows of ties are mounted. It has platform 33 mounted in upper portion of frame 3 at the level to which tie-liners are lifted, mechanism to turn tie-liners through 90 degrees mounted on platform 33, and port 43 to deliver tie-liners turned through 90 degrees to intake device. Gantry frame 3 is installed to provide possibility of clamping of tie end faces by L-shaped levers 11. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 6 cl, 8 dwg
