FIELD: furnaces for production of lead dioxide. SUBSTANCE: furnace has heat-insulated tubular housing where bladed shaft is mounted over entire length of housing which acts as screw feeder. Tubular housing is located coaxially relative to induction coil heating it. Starting material (massicot) in powder form is loaded at inlet of tubular housing and is set in motion by means of bladed shaft towards furnace outlet located on opposite side of tubular housing. Shaft may be shifted relative to furnace axis; blades are so arranged that they form screw in area of inlet and outlet and double screw in area of outlet and unloading hole. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 16 cl, 6 dwg
