FIELD: electrified railways; power supply of trains at failures in traction substation branch provided with central rectifier unit. SUBSTANCE: central rectifier unit is made in form of three-phase semicontrolled rectifier with controlled portion in form of electronic switch unit. Combination killing, charging and testing unit is placed between input leads of rectifier and outputs of feeder switches located at side of contact system sections. Combination unit is designed to control rail track branches at short time disconnection of rectifier electronic switches, to disconnect feeder switch of revealed damaged branch and to reclose rectifier electronic switches. Three-phase semicontrolled rectifier consists of thyristor and diode portions. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 13 cl, 4 dwg
