FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: suppression device is included into converter bridge, which is controlled from control circuit that is synchronous to grid (AST) by means of gating pulses and its three inlets (1U1, 1V1, 1W1) of three-phase current supplied to phases (U, V, W). Both outlets (1C1, 1D1) of bridge lead to DC electric motor (MOT), which in generator mode returns energy via bridge to three-phase current network. Suppression device is arranged with the possibility of control from actuation unit (ALE), which is arranged for supply of actuating pulses depending on control of electric and time values. Suppression device (LOV) comprises for each half (V11, V13, V15; V11', V13', V15', V14, V16, V12; V14', V16', V12') of bridge a suppression capacitor (C1, C2), which is charged with the help of charging circuit (R1, S1, R2, S2; R3, S3, R4, S4) till a certain suppression voltage, at the same time suppression capacitors (C1, C2) in case of suppression are arranged with the possibility of connection with the help of switches (V31, V32, V39; V34, V33, V40) controlled from actuation unit (ALE) to bridge halves.
EFFECT: improved stability of device operation.
