FIELD: hydraulic engineering auxiliary spillway for passing spring flood of rare recurrence. SUBSTANCE: spillway incorporates washable out insert in the form of earth dam 1 enclosed at sides and bottom in covering 5 made of concrete. Ridge 2 of dam 1 is provided with spillway wall 6 which is of zigzag configuration in plan and its ridge mark 7 is located above the mark of ridge 2 of dam 1, but is below of ridge mark 3 of backwater structure 4. Zigzag wall 6 is constructed of steel sheet piles of Z-and U-shape cross section which create additional curvature of zigzag wall. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
