FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: two groups of linearly arranged light-emitting diodes are used as source of flat red light beam. Diodes are shielded from transparent silicone hose of expendable blood transfusion system by screens adapted to disperse red light radiation and to form flat rays absorbed by blood. Apparatus is intended for extracorporeal irradiation of blood and other biological fluids by electromagnetic radiation in ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectral regions. EFFECT: apparatus is cheap, compact, reliable and handy in operation. 2 dwg
