FIELD: medicine radiation therapy. SUBSTANCE: blood is subjected to electromagnetic radiation within the range of 400 to 460 nm in the hose of a disposable system for injection of blood and blood substitutes to the value of the preset permissible dose. The device has a mercury lamp, radiating a wide range of electromagnetic modes, and a filter providing for separation of the blue light spectrum (400 to 460 nm). The device is built in an elliptic reflector - body and has an automatic radiation dose control system. The device body has a slot for the hose of the disposable system used for injection of blood and blood substitutes. Employment of the disposable system completely prevents transmission of virus during blood transfusion to the patient's organism. EFFECT: no need in employment of multiple - use quartz cell, apparatus provides for blood irradiation directly in the hose of the disposable system for injection of blood and blood substitutes. 2 cl, 1 dwg
