FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: inclined throat shears comprises bed and fixed top knife and bottom movable knife secured in supports. On the support of the bottom knife from the side of the inlet to the bed is a fixed cantilever with a horizontal cylinder. The support and bottom knife are provided with openings for passing the rod of the hydraulic cylinder. The outer end of the rod is provided with a disk whose diameter is greater than the diameter of the openings. The outer side of the disk projects out of the outlet side of the bed by a given value when the rod has been moved at a maximum. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
