FIELD: filament manufacture. SUBSTANCE: method involves passing amine oxide cellulose solution through spinneret followed by directing mentioned solution through air gap; performing drawing and, if required, coagulating in precipitating bath. Minimum diameter of spinneret openings is 150 microns. It allows the length of air gap to be reduced to 35 or even 10 mm, which is due to the possibility of directing filaments through small draft in elongate- channel spinneret without affecting required textile properties of filaments produced. Preferred version of spinneret channel has conical portion on its inlet side and cylindrical portion on its outlet side. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of filaments. 2 cl, 1 tbl
