Cover of spinning chamber is provided with filament guiding channel and is mounted for pivoting between position remote from spinning chamber and operating position, in which filament guiding channel is aligned with portion of combing roll casing having stop for providing precise positioning of cover relative to spinning chamber in its operating position, when cover comes into engagement with stop, and for axial positioning of spinning chamber shaft thrust. Spinning chamber shaft is positioned in wedge-shaped gap defined between two pairs of supporting disks.
