FIELD: textile industry; preparatory spinning machines. SUBSTANCE: sliver is passed through condensing funnel and clamp of pair shafts mounted in succession, as well as between shafts located on either end sides embracing them at some distance; guide surfaces of fibrous sliver limiters are located at distance from them and from each other. Limiters are mounted for change of their position relative to ends of shafts which is necessary for adjustment of distance between ends of shafts and guide surfaces of limiters irrespective of each other by means of washers. Limiters are made in form of shackles mounted on condensing funnel by means of bolt located across motion of sliver. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 3 dwg
