FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston machines. SUBSTANCE: machine has housing with opposite cylinder blocks, pistons arranged in cylinders and connected by rods into pairs, drive shaft and mechanism to convert reciprocating motion of pistons into shaft rotation and vice versa. This mechanism is made in form of drum installed on shaft and provided with curvilinear guide slot on its outer surface, and ball bearings installed for engagement through their balls with slots on drum and provided with guides for balls made in housing. Grooves are made in guides parallel with shaft axis and pointed to ball bearings whose balls are fitted in grooves. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
