FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: reciprocating motion of piston and reciprocating and rotary motion of rotor mechanically coupled with piston are converted into rotary motion of inner shaft and, through gas acting onto turbine, into rotary motion of outer shaft. Engine has working cylinder 1, piston 2 with rotor 3 inside, and turbine 10 secured on shaft 12. Piston 2 and rotor 3 are arranged on inner shaft 11. Cylinder 1 communicates with drive space 20 of compressor 4. Working space of compressor 4 communicates through regenerator with hot space 21 of cylinder 1. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
