FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed motor-compressor incorporates a drive motor, a cylinder head with inlet and outlet valves, a piston, a cylinder casing and sleeve with curvilinear slots and a shaft with mounting seat for the transmission rolls to thrust against. The shaft mounting seat arranged in the piston represents a stepwise blade coupled with the piston by a rectangular perforated holder with two rows of holes on every working surface receiving the rollers arranged on both sides of the blade and resting on the slot working surfaces. The transmission mechanism includes also the sliding elements (sliders) arranged in the piston and in the raceways made in the casing and the sleeve base. The roller cage can be spring-loaded on both end faces. The motor-compressor shaft blade surfaces for the rollers to rest upon can be depressed along the length equal to the piston stroke.
EFFECT: higher reliability ensured by reducing specific loads on components, simpler motor-compressor design, assembly and repair.
