FIELD: heat engineering; food industry; cooling or heating liquids; chemical industry; fishing vessels for cooling fish. SUBSTANCE: heat exchange device has cylindrical housing 1 with cooling jacket 2 and drum 3 arranged coaxially in housing on rotating hollow shaft 4. Header chambers 5 and 6 to let in and out liquid to be cooled or heated are connected to housing 1. Hermetically sealed cylinder 7 is installed coaxially with drum on hollow shaft 4. Cylinder 7 has flat base 8 and base 9 made in form of truncated cone. Bases 8 and 9 are secured on rotating hollow shaft 4 provided with holes 10 on one of end face portions. Radial plates 11 made in form of trapezium are fastened to rotating hollow shaft 4 between holes 10. Inner surface of drum 3 is provided with projections 12. Blade wheel 13 is installed in chamber 5, and blade wheel 15, in chamber 6. EFFECT: improved cooling and heating. 3 cl, 3 dwg
